The sun was about to set for the night, and the large group that was formed together, were slowly parting ways. Some of the folks were happy, some of the folks fell sorrow and broken. Xenkei stays silent to himself, with the news of Sola being departed from this world, but living in a dream world, made him feel bittersweet. He is sure that someday we will return her back, and see the smile of the innocent back into our hearts.

After escaping his deep thoughts, He looked around, trying to spot an individual who may help him find what he is searching for. Kitariel notices him about this."Is everything okay,Xen? You look lost." His ears flickered, hearing her calling out to him, as his eyes finally caught the person he was looking for."Wait here Kit, There is something I must ask." He says, and started walking over to the said person. Xen stops a few steps away from the person, Hoping they would listen with reason.

"Knight, There is a favor I must ask. I wish to go with you and help out the Legion..but I'm also requesting to give me some time to finish up some errands here...I'm sure I don't know how soon I'll return, so.."

Knight stands there with his arms crossed throughout the conversation. His facial expression has changed a bit, giving Xen the same ol' grumpy face. Knight gives out a long sigh.

"Rook did see this predicament,And I must oblige... you have 24 hours, Kid." He says, as he ended up walking away. With a nod of agreement, Xen walks back towards Kit, and asks her to return home for the night, and of course, talk about what just happen.

A few short hours later, under the moonlight at the Goblet, Xen spoke with Kitariel along with Eclipse, about his decision of joining the 15th Legion with Rook. Of course, at first she didn't like the idea of him leaving, especially when things just got calm for them and the alliance.

The next day: Xen wanted to make sure there was a few individuals that he would like to visit. He stops by the old Pugilist Guild, to see if Hamon is still around. Of course, when greeted, he would feel a sense of an attack coming from the side. He turns his head, and raises his hand, stopping another fist to punch him. "XEN ME BOI! I'M GLAD YOU CAN STILL STOP MY ATTACK!" The old man yells, as it was Hamon himself, who tried striking him.

"Hah! Think I'd ever forget? I was the one that did this when I was a kid." He says giving out a bit of a laughter. they both lowered their fist and Hamon couldn't help but laugh as well, but his was shorter as he directly mentioned "Aye, but you had a better grip the last time you came by."

Shocked, Xen was, hearing those words. His head lowers down and looked at the palm of his hands. Have I gotten weaker? Hamon gives the kid a pat on the shoulder. "No matter, I do see you have a bit of weight off your shoulder now, eh?" He was referring to Grandark, Having him since the calamity. "Come, let's sit and catch up." Hamon suggested, as they both went to the next room over, being Hamon's office. They both sat down and Xen talks to him about what's been changed. The Dragonsong war, His possession, and The Severance Project, how it all concluded. He then brings up about his adventure coming forth.

"I see, you've been quite an Adventurer, have you?" He says to Xen, giving a burst of laughter. "Well! I do agree in you travels. Where will you be going to next? There is something I'm curious to give you." He asks. Xen stands up and gives a small stretch on his arms and back "Well.. I know you can help me out with this. Do you know where I can find Mark's father? I want to pay him a visit for him."

Hamon stays quiet, in not a good way. "Aye..but I must bring you some sad news, son." He says. Xen blinked, concerned about what he was about to hear. Hamon tells him that members of the Garlond Ironworks brought the attention to his father about what happened to his sons. Isshin didn't want them to be living on as robots, as his time would be slipping away little by little as it is, by the illness. The father would kindly ask for the remains of what both sons actually owned, as a final memory of his sons.

Xen had his head down, hearing this saddening news. It was hard for him to believe all of this happening without his concern, but he knew the back of his head that it was going to come down to this. Hamon handed him a piece of paper towards Xen. "Go give them a proper visit, eh? Come back when you do." Xen nodded and started heading over towards the  location.

The place took him to the Church of Saint Adama Landama in Eastern Thanalan. He speaks with a priest in the church, asking for the names of isshin, markus and len. The priest guides the miqo'te to the gravesite, as he left him alone once it was shown. Xen sees the graves lined up together. When he stands over Mark's grave, he slowly kneel down, and gently brushed his hand on the top portion of the grave, Seen that his name was titled on it, and had his tonfas resting beside it.

Xen has had no words, as tears streamed down his face, remembering all the times he has been with him. From being his student, training day and night, Messing around with Alex at the Rise, and fighting against primordial. The bond that was grown in the times they had would never be forgotten.

"Hey Mark...I'm sorry I'm late...It's been a bit tough when you left. But it was tougher on you too." He glances at the other graves beside him, and turns back to Mark's. "But hey, I've always been proud of you. Never forget that. I want you to relax, enjoy yourself, and spend as much time with your family. you deserve it, Okay?". His free hand checks his pocket and takes out this gold and black circlet that he used to wear, covering the arlean eye. Ever since then, when everyone knew about it, he never wore it. "I'd like you to keep this Mark. It will be our symbol of friendship we've have. You've been like a younger brother to me."

Xen wipes the tears off his eyes, taking a deep breath, and gives a warm smile, placing the circlet near his tonfa. His stands straight and gives a moment to send prayers to him and his family. "Take care.. Markus."

Moments later, Xen returns back to U'ldah and enters the Pugilist Guild. thus, when he entered, he expected a fist coming from Hamon, but instead, he was at the sparring circle with a book in his hand. He sees Xen come in and smiled. "Just in time, Xen. How was your reunion?". He responded with a thumbs up, and had a smile on him. "Good, There is something I wish to speak with you about."  Xen walks over to Hamon and Hamon hands a book to him. it was a medium sized book, good enough to travel with everywhere. The title on the book said "Kensei"

I'd like you to read and learn from it." Hamon says. "Ever since you've had..Grandark, I see you've always been relying on the blade, less on your hands. Many centuries, there was a Monks of the Way of Kensei train relentlessly with their weapons, to the point that the weapon becomes like an extension of the body. Founded on a mastery of sword fighting, the tradition has expanded to include many different weapons. And I want you to master it."

He was speechless, knowing that Hamon has given this to him. His only expression was to give Hamon a big hug. "Thank you... I won't fail you, Master!" Hamon was shocked. He gives a hug back "Do your best, keep that head high, and follow your path, my son. You're always welcomed here."
