Open or Closed-Minded? - Always willing to listen to the council of others, but in the end, he will make his own decisions.
Conscientious or Spontaneous? - While he sees the merit of careful planning, he's aware that unwillingness to improvise is far more detrimental than not having any plan at all.
Extroverted or Introverted? - He loves people, especially ones different from himself. He has no problem sitting and losing himself in a tome for hours, but he is most happy when surrounded by others, friend or foe.
Agreeable or Disagreeable? - Most people love his company, though some may chafe when his confidence bleeds into arrogance.
Confident or Neurotic? - His outwardly confident nature belies the constant pressure he puts on himself to succeed in all endeavors. Rather than allow failures and losses to consume him, he does his best to learn all he can from them and move forward. After all, isn't miring oneself in pity and self loathing the greatest failure of all?
Social Traits
Backstory: Prince Uther Menethil was surrounded by legends since before he developed the ability to form memory. His father, King of Lordaeron and Knight of the Silver Hand, his mother, Queen Jaina, who in another life may have been Archmage of the Kirin Tor, Uther the Lightbringer, his namesake and Grandmaster of the Silver hand. Archmage Khadgar of the Kirin Tor, King Varian Wrynn of Stormwind, King Kael'thas Sunstrider of Silvermoon, and others. All of these dramatis personae have been immense, if not consistent, parts of his life and have instilled in him a strong desire to become someone worthy of his name.
When he learned to talk, the most common words he spoke were questions, and always listened intently to whatever answers were given. He never knew a moment of boredom, for there was always something new to learn. He watched the soldiers training in the yards, mimicking their movements with a branch or broomstick. He asked his mother to read him books about the Arcane, rather than children's bedtime stories. He asked Uther what the light truly was, and how he could serve it as his father did. He asked his father what a King would do if there was a flood, or if magic suddenly disappeared, or his people rose against him. When he would inevitably reach the end of his current mentor's patience or free time (sometimes both), he would simply seek out another, ready to resume whatever lesson they had been discussing previously.
Much to the pride of his parents he adopted both of their paths as he grew, training to become a paladin of the Silver Hand, as well as studying the arcane arts. He took a particular delight in learning the history of the world, for he saw it as an amalgam of the collective wisdom of those who came before him. He was adamant about being present for any sort of diplomatic meeting, and was at least as adamant about spending time outside the palace walls. It was hard to argue with the boy's logic: "How can I be expected to lead my people if I don't know them?"
Once he was a young man, his excursions out of the palace were frequent, offering to help whatever citizens he happened to come across. He offered his assistance to commoners from all walks of life, helping in bakeries, forges, clothiers, mills, stables, farms, and even taverns. Before long Prince Uther Menethil was no longer the faceless son of the King, a ghost hidden behind palace walls. He was a living breathing entity, known by his people as a man who made an effort to understand them.
Now, a man grown, he eagerly awaits the day of his induction to the Silver Hand. One step closer to his goal of becoming someone worthy of the legends that surrounded him. He doesn't know what new challenges await him beyond, but with his friends by his side, the Light at his back, and the power of the arcane at his fingertips, he couldn't be more excited to meet them head on.
