Emile sailed towards the dread moth, grapple-gun in his left hand and Rebellion in his right. His feet struck it square in the thorax and, with his momentum, plunged his blade deep beneath its exoskeleton. As it did, sparks leapt from his hilt and the beast shuttered in spasms. Its spindle limbs thrashed and Emile once again found himself far to high up for his own comfort.
