The envelope of the letter is simply labeled, in small, incredibly neat print, with “Lady Liadrin”. Inside, the notes are completely incomprehensible, the letters seemingly written in some unknown code.
To all but the writer, Liadrin herself, Enrian, and Vandellor, who would instead see neat script hidden in the gibberish, the unnecessary filler instead mostly translucent to reveal the true text written there.

Lady Liadrin,
There is a lot you have already heard of, I’m sure. By the time this letter reaches you, I have no doubt that news of the attack on Duskwither Spire has spread.
That news is likely being accompanied by the statement that one “Velameestra Windrunner” was involved in some fashion. Aiding it. Masterminding it. Whatever story Magister Runesight decided to utilize. In reality, we were stopping it. Unfortunately, with Runesight’s escape, our capacity to really prove such went with him.
You may believe me, or you may not. Ultimately, I state the above to give context. Our purpose at Duskwither was to try and uncover information in the hopes of being able to stop the warlock cabal.
The young man whose family likely accompanied this letter is named Enrian Silverfall. He was a student at Duskwither. One I came to know. Not closely, but we spoke. He is intelligent. Observant. He had honed in on the fact I was more than I seemed almost immediately, though exact details evaded him. A tad arrogant, but, such is… expected. From someone with talent. As I understood, he had been accepted into Falrithian Academy and was intending on transferring soon.
He was killed in the crash of one of the school satellites. From what other students had said, he was attempting to fight off warlocks he had encountered in one of the classrooms when it went down.
There are… several stories as such. However, he is one I can help. While they couldn’t afford such alone, his family has the means to cover what I couldn’t. Given my present position, I have limited means to fund such things.
It offers a second chance. Possibly. At the very least.
I recognize this may be… an unexpected request. From me particularly, given the circumstances. But your aid would be appreciated. By multiple people. I do remember what you told Uther and myself.
If Enrian awakes, I enclosed a letter to be given to him as well.
In the meanwhile, we will continue to fight.
Sincerely,
Velameestra Windrunner
