Raluhi nodded, wasting no time in conjuring the illusory facsimile of their mutual friend. Jaina spent a long moment studying the simulacrum of Phaedra. Her eyes flickered over to Remnii and Raluhi more than once, taking this opportunity to subconsciously compare and contrast the physical similarities and differences between the broken and unbroken draenei, now that she had seen a male and female of both varieties.
"Okay," the queen said, nodding and stepping back to the pool. She took a deep breath and focused. She held her hand out one more time and the azure magic began to surge around it and snake down into the pool like a slow trickle of water.
This time, the pool swirled and took shape. From deep within, the clear water grew foggy and viridian green, but much unlike what had happened before. The pool's reflection no longer showed Jaina and her private chamber, but rather a patch of forest deep within Talador on Draenor. Tall, pseudo-petrified trees jutting out with seafoam green crystal formations dotted the foggy landscape as four figures strode through it - three 'krokul' draenei; two female and one male, plus one unbroken female who appeared to be quite young in comparison to Remnii and the others. Two of the broken walked at the rear of the group, with Phaedra up front and the young draenei not far behind her.
"It worked! Come closer," Jaina said, beckoning the two draenei over as she peered into the scene unfolded by the water.
They spoke to eachother in their native tongue, which echoed from the pool like listening to a conversation through a small trickling waterfall. Though Jaina did not understand the words, it was clear they were travelling - looking for something, or some place.
"How much further?" asked the young draenei.
"Not long now," answered Phaedra. "We should be able to see it soon."
"Are you certain this is safe?" asked the male of the two other broken. "It seems a bit... exposed for my liking. If an orc patrol spots us, I do not think we will all be able to outrun them."
Phaedra smirked. "Trust me. Samaara mapped this route out a long time ago, and we'd taken it dozens of times in the past. Most of the orcs give this place a wide berth."
"Of course they do," he rebuked. "It was once a hallowed place, but now..." he trailed off.
"But now...?" asked the young draenei, who turned curiously to the man. "But now what, Mister Kaviir?"
The broken draenei stopped, his gaze a thousand miles past the young girl before him. As the young girl spun back on her hoof to look at what had drawn their attention, her countenance dropped.
"Oh," she said as she laid eyes upon the edge of the forest some distance ahead of them. Beyond it, desolation. Green and viridian grass and trees and foliage gave way to lifeless gray as far as the eye could see. Tree stumps long since obliterated dotted the otherwise-barren landscape. The only relief from the emptiness was the blasted ruins of Draenic civilization - the sporadic walls of disintegrated shelters, homes, farms. And far, far in the center, almost out of view from this distance, the blasted ruins of what was once one of the holiest places to the Draenei.
The four, and their audience on Azeroth, stared in awe for a moment. "What is that?" Queen Jaina asked to no one, almost not expecting an answer.
