To: Father Benedictus, Archbishop of the Church of the Holy Light
Greetings, Father. I wished to keep you informed of my sojourn through the first teaching of virtues; Respect. I hope this letter finds you well and warm as the winter wears on.
Sister Natalie Seline, my mentor, was both kind and stern in her words and thoughts on Respect and how it can apply to an usual circumstance as my own. Yet, in my travels to aide in the recovery of his Majesty, King Arthas, I was only able to correspond with her regularly through the Sending spell. She wished me to reach out to you and inform you of her favor. By her own words, “Inform the church that you have done well in your first leg. And I give you my blessing. Even if I cannot give it.”
Her one concrete task for me, I have completed with great effort. I’ve completed my lessons with the help of Humans, Elves, and Draenei alike. I have been exceptionally thankful for this multiracial effort to teach me the common tongue. You see, I am not the fastest learner yet all of my tutors, admittedly piecemeal, brought me their best in an effort to help me learn. In the face of global strife and growing unrest, they still took time to lift me up. As my bonds with my tutors, my friends, grow, I hope to repay their kindness and, in turn, lift them up. Our fates are as one.
The nature of my mission within the Church of the Holy Light, the nature of my place as a stranger to this world, demands constant attention to respect. Azeroth is ceaselessly diverse, brimming with different peoples and ideologies. I am honored to be in the midst of such vibrant life. So, in conclusion, though Natalie has deemed my reflections over, I have certainly found that respect has, and will, play an integral role as I explore this world and all of its wonders.
If you have found my explanations sufficient, please note that I will be in Stormwind by the time you receive this letter. If you have any further inquiries, I intend to visit the Cathedral of Light/Stormwind Cathedral while in the capital. I will be happy to follow up with you via another letter.
Thank you for your time, Father.
Sincerely,
"Remnii"
