Vel's tongue once more pressed against the tip of her canine, a somewhat amused expression on her face as Tae'shara promptly turned around with her own analysis.
Hmph. Closer than not, she mused, her finger tips rapping absently against the table.
"In the ballpark. At it's core. Some minor misconceptions. While Kilnar and I do share similarities, my tendencies were developed separately from anyone you mentioned. Out of necessity, largely. It does help me blend in, and gather information to weaponize or not, but it also helps me... socialize better. I'm not particularly good at it. At baseline. There are things I... My perceptions of what is logical and what is irrational tend to differ from others at points, as does how I operate."
She took another sip of her coffee. It had started to cool a great deal, though given the rather warm ambient temperature--even with her ring--the colder temperature was far from unwelcome.
Some of the motivations are off. But otherwise.
She set the mug back down.
"But you're correct. My bonds, once erected, are strong. And they go both ways, generally."
The elf's head tilted ever-so-slightly, once more considering the fact that Tae'shara had nothing to correct about her own analysis.
"Which... what are you looking for, specifically? Given we have collectively thrown each others mannerisms on the table, there's really no need to be covert about it."
