Arthak kept his eyes focused on the Shadowsword, weighing the odds as each side prepared.
It will go to the six on this round, I suspect. The larger group seems...unready, too intimidated by the quality of those they face to realize how little that can mean faced against their sheer numbers.
My best guess, they won't be as aggressive as they need to be, and allow the elite to dig in and define the structure of the combat.
We'll see if they'll learn enough to take a victory on the second round. Even seasoned warriors fall against a Horde.
He grunted, pushing himself out of his fugue to focus on Selin's words. He returned the smile, offering a nod of appreciation.
"I would observe the opposite from my end. Far too many of my own people see the thinner frames of your people, the hit and run tactics you employ so ably, and cry weakness. Far too few pay attention to the number of casualties we have suffered at elven hands. We may have stength, and yes, enthusiasm" He chuckled, "But your former kin and your own warriors employ cunning and patience. These are things I hope you will be able to instill in my own warriors."
No offense to your own exemplary efforts, Thura. I would not have an army worthy of the name were it not for your abilities.
But there is always more to be learned.
"My hope, and my theory is that if we can teach elves to fight as orcs, and orcs to fight as elves, the resulting forces will be insurmountable. And...hopefully, will grow appreciation enough for each other's talents to collaborate well in the field."
