Torastrasza pondered Gil's words for a moment. "Well... it was implied that a dragon of one's own flight would act as witness - either their Authority, an ambassador, a representative empowered by the Aspect or Authority, or the Aspect themselves. But I suppose we never explicitly stated that it had to be of one's own flight."
Itharius somehow furrowed his furrowed brow even further. "Indeed... I suppose we did not. This is highly-"
"Highly irregular," Nalicia parroted. "Yes, I daresay everything we've done in the last few months has been, my dear Itharius. Now... how about you act as witness to this lovely woman and we move on, hmm?" The black ambassador batted her eyelashes at her fellow ambassador, who grunted in response.
"Very well. I will act as your witness. But I will be contacting your Authority on this matter with the utmost haste once this has concluded."
"Good luck," Valithria muttered from behind Itharius, just barely perceptible. Nalicia snorted.
Thal'ena looked at Gil, momentarily stunned that he was allowing this to happen in the first place. "This is insane! We can't really be allowing this... this monster to join us. Her people have slaughtered us for the better part of the last year. They butchered us in the streets, and we're just going to team up with one like nothing ever happened?" She strode out from in front of Gil, her hands gesturing wildly as she spoke. Motah, Teemo, and Samia watched wordlessly as their new companion began her rant. Tora reached out to grab the elf's shoulder and talk her down, but she was far too stubborn to let that happen. "I swore my oath to protect this world from things that would burn it to the ground. My father died protecting Azeroth from these fiends and my mother has sacrificed much to make sure that his sacrifice was not in vain. Now we want to invite this... this... alien into our little team? How can we call ourselves the 'Scales of Azeroth' if one of our number is an enemy of the same world!?"
"Girl," Zagarra said, stepping up to meet Thal'ena. The two of them, bathed in the light of the Orb of Unity a few feet above their heads, bored holes into eachother's skulls with their eyes. "You speak much for one who knows so little."
Thal'ena's eyes flared. "Why, you - How dare you?"
Zagarra was not an exceptionally tall orc, but even so, the mag'har was more than a head taller than the elf, but that did not stop Thal'ena from nearly grabbing the orc by the scruff of her furs. Zagarra stood still and calm as she frowned at the young elf. "You say that the orcs have taken your home. Your family. Your world. They have taken all of that and more from me." Zagarra bent down slightly, less than inches between. "I have killed more orcs than you have seen. I am as alike the greenskins that took your world as you are the demon-touched traitors that opened the door for them." Zagarra narrowed her eyes to Thal'ena. "I have been on your world for a fraction of the time you have been, and even I see how little you understand of it."
Zagarra spun on her heel and faced Itharius. "Witness. I am ready to speak my vows." The orc glanced halfway in the direction of the others. "If the others are."
Samia was the first to step forward. "I am ready," she said.
Teemo and Motah looked ready to step forward, but both looked to Gil first, as Thal'ena stood a few paces in front of them, her back still facing them. Her shoulders were visibly shaking, even through the several layers she wore.
Itharius somehow furrowed his furrowed brow even further. "Indeed... I suppose we did not. This is highly-"
