Nyxxa took note of that information.
That confirms all of our suspicions for certain then.
"Their will and their memory, so it seemed at first. However, when removed from her influence, her hold on them lessened. She left many skarvyn behind, whom were drawn to the dragon-leaf tree. The tree provided them solace, as it seemed to speak to them in some way. And in turn they tended it, which has seemingly allowed it to regrow. And, though I can't be certain of this, it is helping them regain some of that which they lost to Sinestra's experiments."
She turned to the pool behind her, and manifested an image of the branch of the tree with the two leaves that had regrown onto it.
"Other allies of Remnii and I have gained their trust, and in such we have struck a public alliance that may more easily allow them to conceal the location of the tree as it regrows."
As she said this, she turned back to Gilveradin.
"Given everything I have said, I imagine either you and your dragon allies would want to investigate them. But, what I would ask is that you, or that anyone you would need to relay this information to, do everything you can to hold off investigating them until I return from Outland.
Remnii no doubt warned you of the warlock Gul'dan. The skarvyn will be under the scrutiny of him and other dangerous people present in Silvermoon for the foreseeable future. Thus reaching out to the skarvyn at this time would be dangerous. Both to you, and to them.
I saw what happened to the great dragon's skull, thus I know that is something your people are capable of. Eventually it might be good to build a bridge, but as of now any perceived treachery of the skarvyn could be a disaster to them, as well as those of us who advocated on their behalf. And it goes without saying that those keeping watch over the city at this time should not be underestimated."
Saying that, Nyxxa sat down at the edge of the pool.
"My second fear comes in the form of their trauma Sinestra inflicted upon them. Though they despise her now, what she did to them runs very deep and is still present in how they act. I fear if a dragon was to approach them, even with good intentions, all the progress they've made to regaining their will might be undone. They may not be able to recognize the difference between her and any dragon, especially if they are panicking."
She sighed, and ran her hand through her hair.
"That is why if you must relay this information, I would ask you to advocate waiting to reach out to them. It may be some time, but that time would hopefully allow them to acclimate, recover, and not have as many eyes on them."
