Marshal: General

Battlemaster

3rd-level General feature
You gain proficiency in one of the following skills: Animal Handling, History, Insight, Performance, or Persuasion. If you are already proficient in the chosen skill, you gain expertise instead.

Additionally, you become proficient with heavy armor.

Tactical Formations

3rd-level General feature
You know how to quickly form your allies into various formations to adapt to a changing battlefield. When you take the Attack action, you can forgo making one attack to allow a number of friendly creatures equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up) within range of your Commanding Presence to move up to their movement speed.

Additionally, you and friendly creatures within range of your Commanding Presence gain the Rider fighting style if they do not already have it.

Cavalry Captain

3rd-level General feature
Also at 3rd level, you are an expert fighting in sync with your mount. You gain the following benefits:

Fight as One

7th-level General feature
You and creatures within range of your Commanding Presence may spend a flourish to allow a creature within 5 feet of it to use its reaction to make a single melee weapon attack.

Trusted Steed

11th-level General feature
The bond you form with your steed transcends normal limits. You can cast find steed twice without spending mana. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

At 15th level, you can form bonds with mystical creatures instead, and can cast find greater steed instead.

Hold the Line

15th-level General feature
When you or a friendly creature who can see or hear you within range of your Commanding Presence makes a saving throw, you can use your reaction to hold the line, and shout to a number of allies equal to your Leadership ability modifier (minimum 1) to allow them to use their reaction to do the same. If a creature does this, when they are subjected to an effect that allows it to make a saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long or short rest.

Tested Mettle

18th-level General feature
You are indomitable, and your allies are prepared for any danger. Attack rolls against you and friendly creatures within range of your Commanding Presence cannot flourish, and any critical hits against them become normal hits.
