You touch a willing creature. Until the spell ends, the target's skin has a rough, bark-like appearance, and the target's AC can't be less than 16, regardless of what kind of armor it is wearing.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the target's AC can't be less than 17. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the target's AC can't be less than 18. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the target's AC can't be less than 19.
