Chapter Three: The Scales Tip

A small time after the invasion of Azeroth, Jubei'thos was approached by Arthak Saurfang with the idea of uniting to take down the feuding Thunderlord Clan, who Jubei'thos's own clan had been competing with for territory in the city of Silvermoon. However, Jubei'thos rejected the idea of working together directly, but presented that if Arthak created an opening, the Burning Blade would ultimately take it, as their other rival, the Laughing Skull, were also waiting for that same opening.

An opening proved to happen, as Arthak and Azgadaan succeeded in felling Hatock the Gronnmaster and his gronn, and several of the Thunderlords left their clan to join Arthak after such a display. The Burning Blade and Laughing Skull both proceeded to collapse on the remaining Thunderlords, and much of the territory was given up by the remnants of the Thunderlords, who were unified under joint leadership beneath the remaining brothers, Grotan the Herald and Skal the Trapper.

In the weeks to follow, Jubei'thos was the sole representative of the Burning Blade at the first meeting of Arthak's Clipped Wing coalition, where he took a primarily silent role--simply observing up until his active participation in fending off the attack of the Thalassian Resistance on Stormreaver Spire.
