History

The bow was originally carved from a bough of the mother tree of Eversong Forest shortly after the elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas was founded.

Properties

Thas'dorah is an ancient weapon that confers a +3 bonus on attack and damage rolls. Wind and similar inclement weather have no effect on arrows fired from Thas'dorah , whether natural or magical.
Windrunning. While you are attuned to it, your movement speed increases by 10 feet. Nonmagical flames, like campfires and torches, are extinguished within 30 feet of you, and any flaws you have pertaining to traits often attributed to elves - haughtiness, pride, and bigotry - are enhanced in some way.
Windburst. As an Action, or a Bonus Action when you make an attack with Thas'dorah or use the Dash action, you may cast gust of wind. After you cast the spell, roll a d6. On a roll of 1-5, you can't cast it again until the next dawn.
Oath of Vengeance. When you use this weapon to make a ranged attack, you can, as a command phrase, say, "Swift death to you who have wronged me." in Thalassian. The target of your attack becomes your sworn enemy until it dies or until dawn seven days later. You can have only one such sworn enemy at a time. When your sworn enemy dies, you can choose a new one after the next dawn.
When you make a ranged attack roll with this weapon against your sworn enemy, you have Advantage on the roll. In addition, your target gains no benefit from cover, other than total cover, and you suffer no Disadvantage due to long range. If the attack hits, your sworn enemy takes an extra 3d6 piercing damage. While your sworn enemy lives, you have Disadvantage on attack rolls with all other weapons.
