You call upon the power of the Holy Light to purify the area surrounding you with divine fire. Creatures of your choice in a 15-foot radius of you when you cast this spell must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d6 points of holy damage, or half as much damage on a successful one.
For the duration of the spell, the ground affected by the spell continues to glow with burning light. Creatures of your choice take 3d6 points of holy damage when it ends or begins its turn inside the consecrated area, or when it enters the area for the first time on a turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell lot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
