Components: VSM($) (clay, ash, and mandrake root, all of which the spell consumes, and a jewel-encrusted dagger worth at least 1,000 gp)
Duration: Instantaneous

While speaking an intricate incantation, you cut yourself with a jewel-encrusted dagger. You then drip your blood on the spell’s other components and touch them, transforming them into a special construct called a homunculus.
Target. The components of the spell, which you must touch and take 2d4 piercing damage that can’t be reduced in any way.
Effect. You create a homunculus, the stats for which are indicated below. It can look however you desire. In combat, the homunculus shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. A homunculus can't attack, but it can take other actions as normal. The homunculus regains 2d6 hit points if the mending spell is cast on it. It is your faithful companion, and if you or the homunculus dies, it vanishes, leaving its heart in its space.
Special. You can have only one homunculus at a time. If you cast this spell while your homunculus lives, the spell fails.

Traits

Evasion. If the homunculus is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails. It can't use this trait if it's Incapacitated.

Telepathic Bond. While the homunculus is on the same plane of existence as its master, it can magically convey what it senses to its master, and the two can communicate telepathically.

Actions

Force Strike. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: your Spell Attack modifier to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 30ft., one target you can see. Hit: 1d4 + PB force damage.

Reactions

Channel Magic. The homunculus delivers a spell you cast that has a range of touch. The homunculus must be within 120 feet of you.
