Ourobori Jarkul, formerly Clanless Jarkul, was a dragonborn knight of Bahamut that pursued the trail of the Cult of the Dragon from his home in Tyamnther to the Sword Coast.
History
Jarkul was originally born into a small clan of vayemniri dragonborn of Djerad Thymar, but before he became old enough to be formally recognized as a member of the clan and acquire his clan piercings, Tiamat loyalists were found within it. Due to the extent of the corruption, it was deemed safer to entirely purge the adults of the clan, though the younger hatchlings—given their age—were deemed safe enough to rehabilitate and were dispersed into orphanages and other clans, their original clan effectively stripped from history.
Jarkul was among those that had been placed in an orphanage, thus was deemed clanless and effectively doomed to be something of a pariah in his culture. This was further ensured when he found comfort in the draconic god, Bahamut, and eventually made his way to the Platinum Cadre following his time spent in the service of the Lance Defenders.
