Onvyr Keytris was a member of the old Cult of the Dragon and was posthumously discovered to have been a Masked Lord of Waterdeep. He was the father of Nayiss Ourobori, though he was also killed by her hand.
History
Onvyr's mind was shattered by Rezmir when Frulam Mondath sought to abandon his fiend-touched daughter and try to escape the influence that had led to Nayiss's birth. He was left functional enough to care for an infant child and go through enough motions to keep her purpose appeased—as the intent was to buy time for Mondath to cover her trail and put ample distance between herself and the gaze of the marilith Reluhantis.
He was the only real contact Nayiss had for the majority of her childhood, up until she killed him so that she could try to forge her own way. Nayiss personally believed it to have been a mercy-killing given the state he had existed in for years.
