College of Chance
Rather than delving your time and expertise in the arts or battle, you have set out to master the art of gambling and chance. Bards of the College of Chance can be seen as frauds or swindlers at times within the bardic community, such bards know that a life in such a magical world is really all up to chance. With such a bard by your side, fate and good odds are bound to be on your side.
Bonus Proficiencies
Upon taking this college at 3rd level, you’ve become an adept at games of luck and trickery. You gain proficiency in the Insight and Sleight of Hand skill, as well as one game set of your choice.
Each time you finish a short rest, you can choose to change a game set proficiency to another, so long as you have the chosen game set within reach throughout the short rest.
All or Nothing
Also at 3rd level, your inspirations stir a sense of risk within your allies. When an ally rolls one of your bardic inspiration die, they may choose to state if the result will be an even or odd number. They must make this statement before rolling their bardic inspiration.
On a successful wager, they treat the roll as having rolled its maximum value. On a failure, they instead treat the roll as a 1.
Wager against Death
At 6th level, you’ve learned how to gamble your life savings. When you would be reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can spend a reaction to roll a death saving throw. On a successful roll, you instead drop to 1 hit point and can immediately move up to your movement without provoking opportunity attacks. On a failure, you gain one failed death save.
Once you have successfully used this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot to use it again.
Lucky Number
Also at 6th level, you laid claim to a token of luck. Choose a number between 2 and 10. Each time you roll that number on a d20, you can roll again and choose either of the rolls to use.
Infectious Luck
At 14th level, your successful inspirations can jump from person to person. When a creature would succeed their wager from your All of Nothing feature, you can choose another friendly creature within 30 feet of them. That creature gains a bardic inspiration die without expending any of your Bardic Inspiration uses.
