While deities have guided our faiths since history itself, and Lords of Temptations wander our mortal realms feeding on our vices, there are those that meld these two lines of divinity and mortality. These figures are the Ascended, demi-gods that were once mortal and grasped divinity within their palms through their lasting impact on our world. Clerics may lean their faith towards these figures just as much as warlocks obtain shards of power through them.
