One-Man-Army
Your training has made you an expert at fighting multiple opponents at once. A simple one-on-one fight no longer satisfies you. To you, uneven odds against you is a fair fight.
Horde Warrior
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you fight better when surrounded. Choose one of the following benefits.
- You gain a +1 bonus to your saving throws when a hostile creature is within 5 feet of you. You gain this bonus again for every extra 2 creatures within this range, up to a max bonus equal to your proficiency bonus.
- You gain a +1 bonus to your damage rolls when a hostile creature is within 5 feet of you. You gain this bonus again for every extra creature within this range, up to a max bonus equal to your proficiency bonus.
- You gain a +1 bonus to your Armor Class when a hostile creature is within 5 feet of you. You gain this bonus again for every extra 2 creatures within this range, up to a max bonus equal to half your proficiency bonus.
- You gain a +1 bonus to your ability checks when a hostile creature is within 10 feet of you. You gain this bonus again for every extra 2 creatures within this range, up to a max bonus equal to your proficiency bonus.
Each time you finish a long rest, you can alternate which benefit you gain from this feature.
Storm within the Mob
Also at 3rd level, you know how to avoid swarms while exploiting their weaknesses. Opportunity attacks against you are made with disadvantage, and you have advantage on opportunity attacks.
Once per turn, when a creature within 10 feet of you would hit creature other than you, you can spend a reaction to force them to have disadvantage on any attack rolls they make that isn't against you until the start of their next turn.
Call for Combat
At 7th level, you can make yourself the prime target for your enemies. As a bonus action, you can force any creatures of your choice within 15 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). Any creature who fails this save has disadvantage on any attack rolls they make that aren't against you for the next minute.
Each of these creatures can repeat this save at the end of each of their turns, ending this effect on them early on a success. A creature has disadvantage on this save if you haven't dealt damage to them since your last turn.
The range you can affect with this feature increases as you progress in this class. It increases by 5 feet at 10th (20 feet), 15th (25 feet) and 18th (30 feet) level.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses after a long rest. Once per long rest, you can regain one expended use after using your Second Wind feature.
Battlefield Control
Starting at 10th level, your battle superiority extends to a further reach. The range of the effects granted by your Horde Warrior feature increases by 5 feet, and you can alternate between the benefits on a short or long rest.
Additionally, you can move through a creature's space regardless of their size.
Redirect Blows
At 15th level, you can have an enemy's strike hit another when it would fail to hit you. When a creature would make an attack towards you and miss, choose another creature within 5 feet of you. If the attack roll would hit that creature, the attack hits them instead of simply missing.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses after a long rest. Once per long rest, you can regain all expended uses after using your Second Wind feature.
Master against the Swarm
At 18th level, you are an expert at fighting hordes once you have goaded them to you. Your Horde Warrior's range increases by an additional 5 feet.
When using your Call for Combat feature, you can gain all four benefits of your Horde Warrior feature until this use of Taunting War Cry ends.
Once you have used this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
