Talent of the Planar Nexus
Rare are the existence of conduits. Rarer still are those capable of being experts at channeling the might of multiple planes at once. Conduits that take on the moniker of Planar Nexus are capable of manifesting and emulate the might of quasi-planes, the much more treacherous domains of elemental magic. With time, they become living symbols of fusion and duality.
Planar Fusion
Upon taking this flair at 3rd level, you have bonded yourself to a second plane. Choose one additional plane from your current Favoured Plane options. Each time you create a planar rift, you can choose which of the two planes are used. Once per short or long rest, you can manifest a planar rift that uses both plane effects.
Dual-Handed Elements
Also at 3rd level, you vary your favoured spells between both chosen planes. Upon finishing a long rest, you can choose to combine both of your Favoured Plane spell tables into one. Doing so allows you to pick which spells you have access to. You can only pick one option for each available spell level.
Resilience in Coalescence
Upon reaching 6th level, you dual-channel provides you an easier resistance to the effects of both. You gain one of the following benefits, based on which two planes you currently favour.
- Frost. You favor a combo of either air, order, or water. You can walk across water at half your movement speed as if it was solid.
- Acid. You favor a combo of either chaos, earth, or water. You can move through any creature's space, and can use your Intelligence modifier, rather than Dexterity, to escape grapples.
- Explosion. You favor a combo of air, chaos, or fire. You can jump vertically or horizontally an amount of feet equal to half your walking speed, with or without a running start.
- Magma. You favor a combo of earth, fire, or order. You gain resistance to fire damage, and can light flammable objects within 5 feet of you as a bonus action.
- Steam. You favor a combo of earth and air or fire and water. You treat creatures in heavily obscured areas as if they were instead in lightly obscured areas.
You retain this benefit even when switching your favored plane, unless your new combo would grant you a different benefit listed.
Tri-Plane
At 10th level, you gain one additional plane to use.
Moreover, when creating a planar rift, you can choose to have access to all three of your planar spell tables for the duration of the rift.
Once you have done so, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest, or until you expend a spell slot to regain a use.
Mastery in Variety
Upon reaching 14th level, you have reach one of many masteries over the multitude of planes you can channel. You gain one of the following:
- You gain one additional plane to use, and can know all 1st and 2nd level spells from each favoured planar spell table.
- You can create and maintain two planar rifts at the same time, spending two uses of the feature in one action. Both rifts cannot be within 10 feet of each other.
