Target. One creature of your choice that you can see within range or a point you can see within range.
Microburst. If you target a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 10 feet in a straight line toward you or away from you. You may choose to deal 1d8 thunder damage to it if it fails the saving throw.
Gust. If you target a point you can see you can seize the air and compel it to create one of the following effects:
  • You create a small blast of air capable of moving one object that is neither held nor carried and that weighs no more than 5 pounds. The object is pushed up to 10 feet away from you. It isn't pushed with enough force to cause damage. It can also displace vapor, gas, or fog within a 5-foot cube.
  • You create a harmless sensory effect using air, such as causing leaves to rustle, wind to slam shutters closed, or your clothing to ripple in a breeze.
Cantrip Progression. The spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), 17th level (4d8), 23rd level (5d8), and 28th level (6d8). It also improves in certain other ways when you reach higher levels.
  • 5th level: This spell can now target all objects in a 10-foot cube. Additionally, the spell can be used to displace vapor, gas, or fog within a 10-foot cube, and to extend the distance of your high jump or long jump by 5 feet.
  • 11th level: This spell can now push or pull creatures and objects up to 20 feet. Additionally, by aiming a gust at the ground below you, you extend the distance of your high jump or long jump by 10 feet.
  • 17th level: This spell can now target all creatures in a 10-foot cube, and can affect objects up to 10 pounds.
  • 23rd level: This spell can now push or pull creatures and objects up to 30 feet, and can extend the distance of your high jump or long jump by 20 feet.
  • 28th level: You can cast this spell as an Bonus Action. When cast in this way, it cannot deal damage, but it can still move creatures.
