Feats

Feats represent an ability or area of expertise that gives a character special abilities that embody specific training or experiences beyond what a class may provide. You can take each feat only once, unless the feat's description says otherwise. You must always meet any prerequisite specified in a feat in order to take it. If you ever lose a feat's prerequisite, you can't use that feat until you regain the prerequesite.

Each time a character gains the Ability Score Improvement feature they may also select a feat in addition to the stat boost. Many feats have been slightly reworked to lack an ability score increase as a result.
