Backgrounds
Character Gift
When you choose one of these backgrounds, you also select something special that sets your character above the commonfolk. Choose one of the following options.
- Inherited Gift. You begin the game with a magical item. These items are usually of Uncommon or Rare quality.
- Supernatural Gift. You begin the game with a Dark Gift, Feat, or Supernatural Gift of your choice.
Work with your DM to determine what item or option would be appropriate for your character. The DM is the final arbiter on what options are available to you.
