Glamour Object
2nd-Level Illusion
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: VSM (a small prism of glass or cystal)
Duration: 24 hours
You place an illusion on a Huge or smaller object you touch so that it appears different than it is. The object cannot be worn or carried by an unwilling creature.
You can make the object appear like any other object of the same size, shape, and design, adding or removing details as necessary. The physical characteristics of the object do not change, so creatures who touch the item are likely to see through the illusion. For example, if you disguise a sword as a cane and a creature grabs it, they will cut themselves on the blade. If the difference isn't obvious by touch, a creature carefully examining the glamour can attempt an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC to disbelieve it. On a success, the creature knows the item is disguised, but cannot see through the illusion.
The glamour lasts for the duration. If you cast this spell on the same object every day for 30 days, placing the same effect on it each time, the illusion lasts until it is dispelled.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the time it takes for the spell to become permanent is reduced to 20 days. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the time it takes for the spell to become permanent is reduced to 10 days. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level or higher, the spell instantly becomes permanent until dispelled.
