You attempt to transform up to ten creatures that has more than 0 hit points that you can see within range into a Beast. The targets must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or shape-shift into Beast forms for the duration. A shapechanger can automatically succeeds on this saving throw. The forms, which can be the same or different for each target, can be any Beast you choose that has a Challenge Rating equal to or less than half the target’s (or half the target’s level if it doesn’t have a Challenge Rating). The target’s game statistics are replaced by the stat block of the chosen Beast, but the target retains its alignment, personality, creature type, Hit Points, and Hit Point Dice. The spell has different effects based on if the target was willing or unwilling:
Willing. If the new form's hit points are higher than the target's hit point maximum, they gain temporary hit points equal to the difference. When the spell ends, the target loses any remaining temporary hit points from this spell.
Unwilling. The spell ends on a creature if it takes damage from a source other than itself.
The creatures are limited in the actions it can perform by the nature of its new form, and they can't speak, cast spells, or take any other action that requires hands or speech. The targets' gear melds into the new form. The creatures can't activate, use, wield, or otherwise benefit from any of its equipment.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 10th level or higher, you can target two additional creatures for each slot level above 9th.
