Unearthly Chorus

1st-Level Illusion
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self (30-foot radius)
Components: V
Duration: (C) 10 minutes

Effect. Music of a style you choose fills the air around you in a 30-foot radius. The music spreads around corners and can be heard from up to 100 feet away. The music moves with you, centered on you for the duration. Until the spell ends, you make Charisma (Performance) checks with Advantage. In addition, you can use a Bonus Action on each of your turns to beguile one creature you choose within 30 feet of you that can see you and hear the music.
Saving Throw (Beguile). Target makes a Charisma saving throw.
Failure. The creature is Charmed by you for as long as it can hear the music and for 1 hour thereafter. The condition ends early if you or your companions take a hostile action against the creature.
Success. No effect.
Special. If you or your companions are attacking the target, the creature automatically succeeds on the saving throw.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd or 4th level, the duration is 1 hour, and the style of music can be changed at will (no action required). When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level, you can instead anchor the spell to a point you touch. When you cast the spell in this way, it doesn't require concentration, you only gain advantage when creatures can hear the music, and you can only use the bonus action while within 30 feet of the point you touch. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the duration increases further: 24 hours at 6th, 30 days at 7th, 1 year at 8th level, and until dispelled at 9th level. When you cast the spell at 10th level or higher, the range of the spell increases by 30 feet, and the sound by 100 feet, for each spell level above 9th.
