You can mystically access a reservoir of experiences of entities connected to the Astral Plane. Whenever you finish a long rest, you gain proficiency in one skill of your choice and with one weapon or tool of your choice, as you momentarily project your consciousness into the Astral Plane. These proficiencies last until the end of your next long rest.
You know the mage hand cantrip, and the hand is invisible when you cast it. Starting at 3rd level, you learn one of the following spells: expeditious retreat, feather fall, jump, or shield. Starting at 5th level, you also one of the following spells: blur,detect thoughts, misty step, or Enhance Vision. You can cast each of these spells once without spending mana and without material components. Once you do, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using mana if you can cast spells of the appropriate level. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this ancestry).
You have resistance to psychic damage.

Ingenious Focus
Your keen focus is able to persist through even the most extreme circumstances. When you make a fail a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration, you can use your reaction to gain bonus on the saving throw equal to your spellcasting ability modifier, possibly turning the saving throw into a success. You keep this bonus until the end of your next turn. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
Partitioned Mind
You can endure intense mental pressure, such as a mindflayer's psionic blast or a reality break spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make an Intelligence or Wisdom saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
Terror of the Battlefield
Seasoned warriors quake in fear when you step onto the battlefield. You gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on an attack roll against a creature that is frightened.
- When you flourish, you may gain the benefits of the Demoralize flourish in addition to the flourish option you choose. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
