Duration: Instantaneous

You trace a sigil of warding, imposing Disadvantage on the creature's attack roll against you.

At 5th Level. You can ignore the verbal component of the spell.
At 11th Level. You can cast this spell when you are targeted by a ranged attack.
At 17th level. If the attack still hits, reduce the damage you take by an amount equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.
At 23rd level. If the attack misses, the creature takes force damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.
At 28th level. You can impose disadvantage on all attacks the creature makes against you until the end of the current turn.
