Magical Potential
Also at 6th level, if a creature has a Bardic Inspiration die from you and casts a spell that restores hit points or deals damage, the creature can roll that die and choose a target affected by the spell. Add the number rolled as a bonus to the hit points regained or the damage dealt. The Bardic Inspiration die is then lost.
If a creature uses the Bardic Inspiration in this way, the mote granted by Mote of Potential provides the following additional effect:
- Spell Damage Roll. When the creature rolls the Bardic Inspiration die to add it to the damage of a spell, that creature can change all of the spell's damage to one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, poison, psychic, or thunder.
- Spell Healing Roll. When the creature rolls the Bardic Inspiration die to add it to the healing of a spell, the creature can end one disease on the target, or can end the blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned condition on the target.
