Draconic Gift
he bond you share with your drake creates a connection to dragonkind, granting you understanding and empowering your presence. You gain the following benefits:
Drake Companion
As in Fizban's Treasury of Dragons except you now expend a poultice to resummon it and there are the following additions:
- The Drake Companion also adds its proficiency bonus to all saves and ability checks it makes.
- You can also sacrifice one of your attacks when you take the Attack action to command the drake to take the Attack action.
- If the drake was reduced to 0 hit points, it takes 1 minute to be summoned, after which it returns to life with all its hit points restored
Bond of Fang and Scale
As in Fizban's Treasury of Dragons with the following addition:
All-Terrain Drake. Your drake can grow wings, gills, and other appendages to help it travel. When you summon it, you can choose to give it a burrow climb, flying, or swimming speed equal to its walking speed. The drake can breathe air or water whenever it has a swimming speed.
Drake's Breath
As in Fizban's Treasury of Dragons with the following changes:
- Only the drake can exhale the breath weapon. The slayer cannot
- Save for the breath cone is now Dexterity of Constitution (your choice)
- Initial damage has been reduced to 6d6, and improved damage is now 8d6
- Now recharges on a short or long rest
