Duration: Instantaneous
As in the Player's Handbook except for the following changes:
- The spell ends early if you cast it again or cast another smite spell, such as shackling smite or lightning arrow.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage dealt by the attack increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
