Chapter Three: The Scales Tip
Voldana was the first member of the Quel'Danil Lodge that greeted Gilveradin Windrunner after he was brought to her by her daughter, Loania, when he arrived to deliver the missive sent by Sylvanas Windrunner. It was at her suggestion that the missive be taken to ranger-captain Jalinde Summerdrake immediately, as the lodge leader, Saldor Shallbrook, had already turned in for the night.
While Jalinde was furious at the nerve of the orders, which involved abandoning their surveillance of the Darkspear trolls and sending what farstriders could be spared to the Gatekeeper, Jalinde was more amicable. In addition, the next morning, she gave Loania permission to aid Gilveradin further by allowing her daughter to take her dragonhawk, Summerflight, so that the young ranger could be ferried down to the dwarven city of Grim Batol.
Before her daughter's return, however, Voldana and a small contingent of farstriders from Quel'Danil Lodge were sent north to help reinforce the rangers at Last Crossing.
