Fel Heartwood
Fel Heartwood is a variety of Heartwood found in places corrupted by fel magic.
While heartwood is resistant to decay, disease, and death magic, it is sensitive to the influence of fel magic.
With slight exposure, a heartwood will produce fel cones. These cones billow a poisonous, vomit inducing, green smoke. This is often used to detect the presence of satyrs in an area.
