Common was the language spoken by the humans of the Eastern Kingdoms of Azeroth. It was a prolific language, and it was one of the most commonly spoken languages on the planet due to the use it had in trade. By the night elves, it was also known as the Traveler's Tongue, as it was the language primarily spoken by Jaina Proudmoore-Menethil when she was thrown back in time to the War of the Ancients and became a renowned hero amongst the kaldorei for the role she played.
