Moonfire

You focus a beam of pure moonlight through a lens of magic, which ignites a foe with the light of the moon itself. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d8 radiant damage and be set on fire with the power of the moon, dealing 1d6 radiant damage each turn, or half as much damage on a successful one, avoiding the burning effect.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage of the initial effect increases by 1d8 for each slot above 2nd level.
