Following the Sacking of Silvermoon, Galell had found refuge with the Thalassian Resistance, where he aided his people in whatever ways he could. It was on one of his assignments that he managed to cross paths with Nyxxa, who he responded to aggressively and attempted to flee. However, Nyxxa pursued, and she assured him that she wasn't intending on harming him as there was no one around that she needed to keep up appearances for.
The situation remained tense, but Galell wound up taking Nyxxa to his rendezvous point where his companions--Kayn Sunfury, Allari Elburn, and Sevis Brightflame--would be able to deal with her as it became apparent she was looking for someone in the Resistance to speak with. As a group, they opted to take her to speak with their leader, the Blood Shrike.
