Chapter Three: The Scales Tip

Garrosh was one of the Warsong representatives at the first meeting of Arthak's Clipped Wing coalition at Stormreaver Spire, and was present when the Thalassian Resistance ambushed. However, he stormed out soon after Maim Blackhand, who was killed in the chaos, was taken away, which seemed to implicate some degree of involvement.

Garrosh had reconvened with Jorin Deadeye following the attack, who did his best to cool some of Garrosh's fury at the disguised Garona for the premature murder of Maim. It was here Arthak also found him to inform him that he would be remaining within the ban'dinoriel to continue his responsibilities, while Garrosh took advantage of the free movement the escape of Silvermoon would offer. Garrosh agreed, though Arthak then brought forth that a member of his clan had seen the "krokul slave" fleeing from the site of Maim's murder. After a tense moment, Arthak made it clear that he knew it had not been Garrosh's intention for Maim to die--not now--though Garrosh refused to reveal who the "krokul" actually was.

Garrosh chose to task Zagarra with aiding the coalition in his absence, but as he moved to leave, Arthak quietly informed Garrosh that Maim had been returned from the dead, and that the Shadow Council had started to scout Arthak himself. News that Garrosh responded to with a warning that Arthak should "not become one of the heads [he] will roll" before he left with the disguised Garona in tow.
