Homunculi
A homunculus, plural homunculi, is a type of undead that can be created by powerful mages and can perfectly imitate living individuals. Unlike conventional undead, homunculi are completely undetectable by normal means, and are shielded from both divination magic that would detect their true creature type, and the effects of spells such as zone of truth, which can make them particularly dangerous infiltrators.
Their only identifiers is that they possess fangs that can secrete a toxin, resulting in a paralyzing bite, and when sliced open a sickly green ichor pours forth instead of blood.
Notable Homunculi
The warlock cabal that infiltrated Silvermoon were proven to utilize homunculi as Gilveradin Windrunner encountered one that took the guise of Thal'ena Dawnseeker. This homunculus was destroyed summarily destroyed, and was reported to General Borel Skyfire, as several Guardians of the Eternal Spring had also shown to be traitorous in the encounter.
