You create an aura around the subject that enhances or hinders the effects of all healing and damaging spells. When you cast the spell, choose Amplify or Dampen. An unwilling target may make a Wisdom saving throw when targeted by the spell, resisting the effect on a success.
Amplify. Whenever a spell damages or restores hit points to the target, and a 1 or 2 on a damage or healing die is rolled, reroll the die. You must use the new result, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2.
Dampen. Whenever a spell damages or restores hit points to the target, and the highest or second highest result on the damage or healing die, reroll the die. You must use the new result, even if the new roll is higher. For example, on d6s, reroll all 5s or 6s. On d12s, reroll all 11s and 12s.
An unwilling target may make a Wisdom saving throw when targeted by the spell, resisting the effect on a success.
At Higher Levels. Whenever you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can target one additional target for each slot level above 3rd. The creatures must be within 30 feet of each other when you target them. You choose whether each target is affected by Amplify or Dampen individually.
