Chapter Three: The Scales Tip
Saldor was the ranger-captain that Sylvanas Windrunner wished for Gilveradin Windrunner to deliver her orders to at Quel'Danil Lodge. While he complied with the orders as written, stating he would send what farstriders he could, he emphasized to Gilveradin that the lodge had had to rely on their own means for a very long time and had long been understaffed and stretched thin, a situation he emphasized for Gilveradin to tell his aunt.
As he stated, the fact that the Ranger-General was asking for their aid after the lodge had spent so long in isolation was very "unfortunate."
Much to Saldor's annoyance, Gilveradin reappeared several days later on his return trip from Grim Batol. The young Farstrider requested the report filed by Jalinde in regards to the message that was to be delivered to the trolls in Hiri'watha, as he had found signs of a struggle at that very village. However, after pushing Gilveradin for more of an explanation, Saldor was unsympathetic to the trolls' plight, and he stated that Gilveradin was welcome to take his grievances to Jalinde, but he had no intention of doing so himself.
