Light's Vengeance Epic Requires Attunement
Heavy, Two-Handed Maul +1 Hit/Damage 2d6 Bludgeoning Passive: When you hit a field or undead with this weapon, that creature takes an extra 2d6 holy damage. While you hold this weapon, it sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet.

Light's Vengeance was an enormous hammer, with a silver head etched with runes and a sturdy haft wrapped in blue leather that was gifted to Arthas Menethil when he joined the Knights of the Silver Hand.

History

Light's Vengeance was given to Arthas by Archbishop Faol when Arthas completed a ceremony held in the Cathedral of Light and joined the Knights of the Silver Hand. It remained at his side at all times, and was taken with him when Arthas was kidnapped and stowed in the Cavern of the Soul. Following Daval Prestor's reveal that he was responsible for Arthas's kidnapping in a bid to claim the Demon Soul, Uther took the hammer to keep it in safekeeping while Victor Prestor took Arthas back with him and his father in order to make it appear that Victor was still under his father's control.
