Lordaeron City
Lordaeron City, which is also sometimes called Capital City, is the capital city of the Kingdom of Lordaeron. It was formerly built by Arathorian nobles far back during the time of the fracturing kingdoms, and it eventually rose as the city-state and capital of the kingdom that emerged after the fall of the Arathorian Empire.
Since then, it has become the seat of the kingdom's leadership and the heart of the nation--acting as the home of the land's ruler Arthas Menethil and both his ancestors and descendants.
History
In the early days of the kingdom, Lordaeron City served as the industrial center for the nation. However, over time, the industries were moved out to other areas of the kingdom, and Lordaeron eventually became solely an administrative center and the seat of the Church of the Holy Light.
