Merriel Swiftheart was the wife of Faltora Swiftheart, and was on leave of absence with the Farstriders during the investigation into the warlock activity in Silvermoon due to her pregnancy. During the course of the investigation she gave birth. Neither she, her husband, nor their child survived the Sacking of Silvermoon.

Chapter Two: Casting Dice
Merriel was one of the people available to give testimony in regards to the suspects of Dar'khan's murder due to her familial connection to Koltira as Faltora's wife. Arator Windrunner and Caleron Morningwhisper had gone to speak with her and her husband, during which she went into labor and they were able to welcome his new child into the world.
The Sacking of Silvermoon
Both Merriel and her husband fought back valiantly against the orcs when they invaded Silvermoon, but they were unfortunately killed along with their newborn child.
