Sadine, along with her aunt, was kept as a heavily guarded prisoner of war by Arthak. During the orc's mating celebration, the demoness Nyxxa had slipped to the building to speak with her. In the process, the demoness informed her that she would be serving as a translator when Arthak next spoke to her, and the elf's situation could have been far worse. Nyxxa also encouraged the elf to cooperate with Arthak when he spoke with her, as such cooperation could result in intelligence and a better chance for her survival.

While Sadine had no intention of becoming friends with the saytr, she did hear and acknowledge the wisdom in Nyxxa's words.
