Tomas Gray
Tomas Gray was the captain of the guard that served baroness Annibeth Lansing and was among one of her most trusted guards. He was given the responsibility of ensuring that she did not escape her quarters when she fell victim to the plague of undeath, but had ultimately later been wounded and recognized his fate was to similarly rise. After he turned, he was awakened and maintained his role as Annibeth's guard.

Chapter Five: Civil War
Tomas Gray was on duty when Velameestra Windrunner and Uther Menethil approached the courthouse of Andorhal with the promise of a potential solution to the undead outbreak. They wished to speak with Annibeth, and Tomas attempted to turn them away, but he rapidly fell silent when Velameestra successfully guessed that the governess had fallen victim to the plague herself. He ultimately relented after realizing they couldn't afford to turn away potential aid.
As they walked to Lansing's chambers, Tomas asked how the plague was spread, and upon hearing it could be spread through injury, he admitted that he had dreaded that had been the case, and he revealed a wound he had sustained from another member of the staff that had turned. He had been unsure how to tell his kids, but if he was a dead man walking, he was willing to show them into the room personally. Sure enough, when the room was unbarred and Tomas entered, the undead in the chamber paid him and Velameestra no mind, and entirely focused on Uther until the still partially-lucid Lansing barked at them to back down.
After the solution Velameestra offered proved effective on Lansing and the staff that had been incarcerated with her, and the awakening of all the still-active undead in Andorhal, Velameestra left the rituals required with the mages of the city so that those who turned later could also be helped. Tomas was one of those men after the infection claimed him.
