The Violet Hold

The Violet Hold is a prison complex that is housed in Dalaran. Due to the large quantity of magi that inhabit Dalaran, the Hold has been specifically warded and enchanted in order to be able to hold any number of powerful, and deadly, prisoners. The Hold itself is a massive stone building with a steel, multi-locked door that opens into a large central chamber that then branches off into several other wings and holding cells that are walled off by magical barriers and other such magical security measures.

Due to the extreme magical security in place, the Violet Hold is known to be one of the most secure prisons in the Eastern Kingdoms.
