Telina Mirthbrook was a star pupil of Magister Duron Coldlight who easily excelled at the test that she was given at the Quel'lithien lodge. However, it quickly became apparent that there was more to her than was originally evident.
Appearance
Telina is an attractive elf with long, blood red hair. While she initially veiled the fel nature of her magic, once her cover was dropped it was revealed that, when utilizing magic, her eyes have a fel green glow instead of the normal arcane blue associated with high elves.
After taking the Mark of Kathra'natir, her skin became pale and covered with burning fel glyphs that bore his power, and her red hair became streaked with stark white.

Biography
Telina was born in Goldenmist Village.
Chapter One: Rise of Zalazane
Revelation
Telina had accompanied fellow student Kriss Goldenlight to the Quel'lithien lodge so that they could attempt their final exam to become magisters of Silvermoon under the guidance of Duron Coldlight. Prince Uther had originally accepted an offer to get some tips on magic from Telina as his specialties were the "simplest" forms - Evocation and Abjuration - and arranged to meet with the elven mage later on for a "date". Of course, it was ultimately Uther's intention to get some information out of her concerning the trolls that were somehow surpassing the Quel'Thalas elfgates.
However, the ploy proved a bit too fruitful as when he met up with her later it was revealed that she had stolen a sacrificial troll dagger that had been stored in the armory for examination and retrieval by Magister Coldlight alongside a shrunken troll head and a totem. She had ultimately murdered the magister in order to rip open a portal to the Twisting Nether. She had also attempted to kill Uther, but managed to escape via a teleportation scroll - with the dagger in hand - when the rest of the party arrived on the scene.
She later reappeared in Silvermoon City itself when the group fought a group of mercenaries that had been sent against them to interfere with their dabblings into the warlock activity in Silvermoon. She openly mocked Velameestra Windrunner, who attempted to strike her with a dagger as she retreated, commenting that her "aim had been much better when her target had been the prince." The comment implied that Telina somehow knew that Velameestra had been possessed by Zalazane, and under the troll's influence had attempted, and almost succeeded, in killing Uther.
Telina then disappeared.
Investigation into Telina prior to the second encounter had revealed that she had originally not been a very promising student, but had gotten into tutelage under the magistrate thanks to a recommendation by Kilnar Goldensword.
Chapter Two: Casting Dice
Reunion
Velameestra and Vincent encountered Telina once again at a black market auction, albeit disguised by the party tricks of the auction host. She and Dar'khan Drathir attended to try and retrieve two Bloodbone Daggers, which were up for sale. They were able to purchase one of the two, though Vincent was able to steal it during the conflict that ensued before she was able to escape with the weapon.
She appeared again, this time disguised as a elvish guardian, when Velameestra and Uther intentionally made themselves targets to lure the warlocks into overextending. Telina was able to incapacitate the two with a sleep spell before bringing them back to Runesight's manor, where they were drug into a planet on the rift between worlds - Telogrus.
Death
Telina was with Dar'khan when he assaulted the Sunwell Plateau in an attempt to open the Dark Portal, this time disguised as a farstrider. During the battle at the Sunwell's edge, the warlock's body was overtaken and transformed by Kathra'natir, the demon she had sealed within her body. She was eventually laid low by Velameestra with her wand of arcane missile. When Valeera Sanguinar went to end the warlock's life, the demon's spirit tore itself from Telina's flesh, killing her instantly.
