General Garr is a powerful conglomerate lava elemental loyal to Ragnaros. He, along with Baron Geddon, served as one of the jailers for the Windseeker, Thunderaan.
Biography
Chapter Four: Homecoming
General Garr, along with his cohort Baron Geddon, were summoned by Velameestra Windrunner using a gate scroll that the giantess Thrúd had acquired from the Oracle so that they could be defeated in order to free the great elemental lord, Thunderaan. While the pair had been confident they could secure victory over the mortals that had summoned them—especially with a portal to the Firelands open—they were ultimately vanquished by the Alliance party in the resulting combat.
Following the destruction of Geddon, Garr managed to open up a massive fissure in the earth which he hoped to use to crush the mortals that had challenged him. Uther Menethil and Remnii were dropped within it, but Velameestra had managed to retrieve both of them before ultimately landing the final blow on the giant elemental—driving her sword into his back and causing him to crumble until he could reform on the plane of fire.
